Welcome to the Young CAMRA members page! Its here we show you that Real Ale is enjoyed by people from all sorts of backgrounds, not just by bearded folk in woolly jumpers! You dont have to be a member to enjoy a good pint; all you need is a thirst for a good pub atmosphere. Young member events happen all over the country, and include regular meetings as well as working socials at beer festivals and pub crawls.
Last Sunday of every month: Our Sunday Social Crawl
On the last Sunday of every month we meet at the Seven Stars to wind off the week-end with a few beers. It's a chance to get together, play some pool and discuss future events for Young CAMRA members. It's a great chance to visit pubs in the Headless Cross area of Reddditch, as all the pubs are less than five minutes walk away. There's even a chance to play darts or take part in a pub quiz if you prefer.
We meet from 8pm at the Seven Stars on Birchfield Road in Redditch (B97 4LB).
Sunday 12th February: The Redditch Welcome Crawl
A welcome crawl to members old and new; especially if you've just joined at the Redditch Winter Ales Festival! We'll be starting at Steps in Redditch (B97 5EN) from 8pm, then it's off to the other pubs in the Headless Cross area.Fri 9th March: Ramble around Alvechurch
Consisting of getting a train at Redditch at 8.27pm and getting off at Alvechurch and walking to Crown, Red Lion, Swan and back to the Weighbridge before getting a train back to Redditch at around 11.15pm to have a farewell drink at one of the Wetherspoon pubs.
Thursday 12th April: Curry & Crawl
A chance for young members to get together over a curry with some beer! A great deal on offer; for just £5.99 you can choose a guest ale and a curry with rice, naan and poppadums! The full Wetherspoons menu is also available. After something to eat; we shall see where the crawl takes us around the town centre pubs of Redditch. Meet at The Rising Sun in Redditch B98 8AE at 7:30pm.
